Carving a Begonia for the Sacred Heart

For those who are familiar with our work, the concept of Mary Flowers or the religious names of flowers will not be a foreign concept. Throughout the ages of Faith, flora and fauna were associated with the lives of the saints, the Blessed Mother, Our Lord, and other aspects of the Faith. Begonias are no exception. The variety Begonia fuchsioides was called "Heart of Jesus."
